With the
rapid growth of urbanity, Philippine cities (outside the capital Manila) have been erecting multi-level buildings to cater the needs of residential,
office & vacation spaces.
On top of the list is Cebu City being the second city next to Manila in terms of the number of hi-rise buildings. Factors that made building owners to build multi-level building are the presence of business process outsourcing companies, the increase number of tourism & for some this is a good way to invest for condominium.
Below are the list of second tier cities with hi-rise buildings:
1. Cebu City has Crown Regency Hotel & Towers Cebu which is the tallest outside Metro Manila. This 45-storey building making a big impact in Cebu's progress. A lot of under construction buildings are on progress. With Cebu's location and direct connection no wonder its a haven for investment.

2. Davao City is considered as the "King City". The wide land area, presence of Mt. Apo (the tallest in the country) & Philippine Eagle are the reasons behind this monicker. Why not? Davao top the list in Mindanao having more than 10 buildings erecting with at least 12 floors. Ayala's Abreeza Residences with 26 - floors is topping the list.

3. Tagaytay
City is also know as the Second Summer Capital of the Philippines. The cool weather with the view of Taal Volcano made some businessman to build a lot of condominium. SM has at least 6 tcondo towers which stands 21 storeys.

4. Lapu-lapu
City is a resort city with the presence of 5 star hotels around the island. Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu Tower 2 - a 21 storey building is holding the record. The presence of Mactan International Airport what made this island accesible to all visitors.

5. Iloilo City is considered as the "Queen City of the South". There are at least 5 buildings with more than 12 storeys in this city. Injap Tower Hotel is topping the list with 21 storey and a helipad on top. What's nice about this city is that major companies in the Philippines are building its own township just beside its other - namely Ayala, Megaworld, Gaisano & SM.
